Transferred Site – P Tags Missing

  • Hi,
    I recently transferred a site from wordpress.com to a .org version. In transferring the content, using the export / import XML – all of the paragraph breaks have disappeared from the Posts and Pages.

    This seems to be a common problem. Is there a fix? Or am I doomed to reformat 100+ posts that I need to transfer..?

  • he cut and pasted the posts from Word and then probably adjusted things as needed

    Oh – that could explain a great deal! Never paste in content from Word. Unfortunately, I don’t know of any way to batch replace the missing p tags. ??
