Transferring events to another site – import/export option?

    I will need to move all my events from website a to website b.

    Is that possible now?

    I have tried using All in one Multisite Migration, but that is currently not working due to an “issue” with Events Manager.

    Details of the issue here:
    There was an issue related to custom tables (Events Manager plugin) and WP Multisite installation.
    In Multisite installation, every plugin usually creates their own tables based on the subsite table prefix (e.g. wp_5_options), but Events Manager plugin created global tables which we do not include/process during the migration and that was causing the problem.

    The development dep. at All in One MULTISITE Migration is currently trying to solve this, but it hasn’t been solved so far.

    But, according to https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/export-events-7/, that is one year old, I suppose there is an option to export/import events today – or?

    I would love to know the status of that export/import module.

    Hi,

    At the moment, no eta yet with regards to importing/exporting feature. However, you can move EM to another site by exporting WP tables with prefix em_* and you might need to include wp_posts or wp_postmeta with post id is equivalent to wp_em_events field post_id

    Can you be a little more specific on how to move the plugin, settings and pages to an existing site?

    What happens if the post_id from the pages I want to move already exists on the receiving website?

    You need to update the post_id by incrementing the last inserted post_id using custom SQL query
