• I am using an old free wordpress theme Coraline that hasn’t been updated in two years and I think is no longer being supported. I want to purchase a premium theme from woocommerce.com and transfer my site from the old theme to the new theme. I don’t know how to do this. Would appreciate any help and documentation on this. Thank you.

Just install the new theme and activate it. You’ll need to reassign existing menus to the locations used by the new theme (appearance->menus) and may have to move around widgets (appearance->widgets).

Thanks Steve. When you mean reassign existing menus do you mean that they will have to be recreated from scratch?

No. Menus are assigned to a theme location. If your new theme uses different location names, you’ll have to reassign existing menus to them.
