Transferring Movable Type to WordPress

Hi, I’ve been using WordPress for a few years and still recommend it to everyone I know. I’ve made a few people very enthousiastic, and some have started to convert their blogs and CMS-es to WordPress (good thing if you ask me). Now I know a few people who use Movable Type (https://www.sixapart.com/movabletype) and want to convert their blogs to WordPress, but have no clue where to start. Is there anyone here with any knowledge on Movable Type and could you give me any tips on database backup-ing and converting items/templates? Thanx!
