transferring site to NAS: result WP Installation Screen?

Hi Michel7,

Are the details (database name, database username, database password, and hostname) of your wp-config.php file correct?

Checked it again and again, all fits…

If give the address of the site: 192.xxx.x.xxx/mysite it redirects me directly to Wp-install page…

I progressed 1 tiny step.
I changed the DB prefix in WP-config from capitals in undercast. Result: I do now get the site, however just the flat text: no theme/style/picture what so ever…
anybody?

one way or another, it can’t find the style.css I guess, but checked the path and is also ok…

Can you share the URL, so that I can take a look on the front end?

Also, have you tried to clear your browser’s cache?

Can you login to the WP Admin area? If so, try and switch the theme.

Next, I would add define('WP_DEBUG',true): in your config file and see if you get any errors.

uhhhh, stupid question: what address should I use for login in to wp admin …

Add /wp-admin to the end of your URL.

It seems as if it can connect to the dbase and to where the ‘flat text’ is located and cannot ‘reach’ all other stuff….?
