Transforming a page to a widget?

  • Hi! I’d like to know if it’s possible transform a wordpress page into a widget. I want to copy the content of a page to all my other pages but I’d like to be able to modify it only at one single place. I thought if I was able to transform my desired page into a widget, I could add it to all my other pages. Is there any way to do that? Do you have a better idea on how to achieve a similar task? Thanks a lot!

    I’m not sure I follow 100% so before suggesting something that might not be needed, I wanted ask first. You want to create an area similar to say the footer or header of your website, that’s always going to be the same unless you edit it.

    I’m guessing you want to do something more complex than just adding text to a text widget and displaying it on the sidebar of each page. Maybe if you can provide a link to something you’re after along with a link to your site it would be easier to help figure out the best way to go about this. Thanks

    I use a plugin that does something like what you are describing. However, it is not a free plugin.

    Are you looking for a solution that you would code yourself instead?

    I want to include 5 rows at the end of every pages on my website. Instead of copying all these rows on every pages, I’d like to be able to add them easily and modify them only at one place instead of having to modify each and every pages.
