transition animation

Transition is done internally by the PhotoSwipe libary. There is no documented way to get transitions during image change, sorry. Also see https://photoswipe.com/documentation/options.html

ok thank you for your help. i’ll go with the fade-in for the first image then.

I came accross an extension for PhotoSwipe which adds slide animation (see https://github.com/dimsemenov/PhotoSwipe/pull/1179). Now this is also supported, just update to version 2.60 ??

Thanks, this is what I’m looking for as well. But please forgive my relative ignorance — how do I get the extension you link to in Github to work with your WP plugin? Is there code I need to copy from Github? Files? Thanks very much for any help.

You don’t need to do anything. This extension is part of my plugin since version 2.60.

Thank you. But I still only get the fade-in for the first image, not the following ones. Do I need to enable it somehow?

(Using v. 2.66, btw).

There is no “fade in”. The images will move horizontally when changing in desktop mode.

I see, thank you. Maybe at some point in the future we’ll have the option for a fade in transition (like for the first image) as well as slide. Either way, it’s a great plugin and my preferred lightbox. Thanks for making it!
