Transitioning my aweber list

Currently, I am using another membership plugin and am wanting to leave them and use Paid Memberships Pro.
However, all of my existing members – 7500 of them – are integrated with my aweber mailing list. The current membership plugin is configured to automatically unsubscribe members from aweber when I change their membership level or delete them.
So I’m concerned about the transition to Paid Memberships Pro. How will I handle my autoresponder with Aweber? Are they going to have to opt in again? Because I can tell you that they won’t. It’s too inconvenient for them.
What is your experience with this?
