Translate

Hi there Rass,

what language are you interested in? ?? If you look at Simple Subscribe homepage, there’s a part that says Road-map, that’s what’s planned in upcomming versions, among others, yes I’m plannig to add translations.

But, I won’t be able to provide all languages ?? When I get to translations, and you could help with your language – whatever that is – that would be marvelous.

Until that time – you’ll have to do with english – or translate yourself then ?? But I do have to warn you, new versions are comming really fast, and stuff changes, you may loose your changes with new version of Simple Subscribe. If you’re really up for translating files, be my guest ?? Unfortunatelly it’s not just one file containing all messages, each file has it’s own exceptions, log messages, success messages. You’ll just have to crawl thru them.

In most plugins you can insert the local language under setup.
Maybe it was a way to go.

again, if you just read the Road-map, it clearly states language support there, which means it will be in upcomming versions ??

About “Language Support”, are you considering to be qTranslate compatible?

Hey there sr_blasco, that’s great as well.

So far I have you for Spanish, and Anders for Swedish.

For now, I’m still waiting to get the e-mail queue developed and small other features before the big translation. Reason is, adding new stuff to each version this rapidly would just slow down in these first big steps with each translation.

I’d give it a month or two to begin the translations ?? and I’ll have a look and copmare the difference between using gettext and qtranslate.

Which files I need to change to translate only message to be sent to subscribers? For example, text “new post from”, “read more…”, etc. I found only “Would you like to unsubscribe from this digest?”.
