translate buttons for admin modal windows

  • I’m trying to figure out how to make qTranslate X work on modal windows in the admin section for “Attachement Details” inside the modal window that pops up when you try “Add Media” button from the Visual Editor. Right now it’s just showing the raw inside the fields ([:en]…).

    Can anyone point me in the right direction? What I’ve found out so far:
    – includes/media_template.php seems to be where modal window content is generated, I think, around line 500
    – modal window content is wrapped in <script type=”text/html”

    Is there a way to initialise qTranslate for the modal window, so as to have the buttons show up again inside of it inside the Attachment Section?

    I know this is maybe a lot to ask but if you can spare a minute for some pointers in the right direction I thank you kindly.

    @in2web,

    for media (attachment) details go to Dashboard – Media – Library – Edit Media and there are language buttons. Not on the pop-up window after Add Media.

    I think that qTranslate is not designed otherwise.
