    Hello!

    Is there a way to translate the Cookie Notice strings (GDPR Message, Message Heading, About Cookies Message) using WPML?

    I can translate other strings like the cookie type headings and descriptions using WPML string translations just fine, since these are admin strings, but any text I enter in, say, the GDPR Message textbox is displayed identically in all front end languages (I use French and English on my site). Using the string translations, I can only change the default text for these sections…

    Yes, certainly you can translate content inside the banner.

    Please follow the below steps to translate the contents inside the banner:

    1. Inspect the element whose string you wish to translate and copy the name of the element.

    2. Then in WPML go to the ‘String translation’ tab.

    3. Click on the ‘Translate String in admin screen’ at the bottom left corner.

    4. Paste the name which you copied in the search bar, remove the ‘_field’ from the name, and search.

    5. Select the element and add it to the string translation.

    6. Again navigate to the ‘String translation’ tab and click on the plus sign to add the translation for the given string.
