Translate Custom Field Option Value + Sort Search Result via Custom Field

    Good Day,

    Great plugin again, need some kind advice on followings:

    (1)I have created a custom field e.g. Colours with option values e.g. red, green, blue, etc. Have managed to translate the field name/label “Colours” to Chinese using plugin Loco Translate/WBGlobus but there is no change to the option values e.g. red, green, blue in the frontend Listing Form even though Loco Translate showed in its interface the Chinese translation of the option values are saved. Other than plugins, I have also tried to manually change the PO and POT file using msgid, msgstr but ALL option values for the custom fields remain in English. Any advice on any plugins/methods/hardcoding in any acadp files needed to translate the custom field option values?

    (2)Kindly advise what methods/which files to change so that I could sort the search results by some custom fields e.g. sort search result listing by custom field “Colours”

    Sorry, the database stored content cannot be translated and displayed at the moment. But, this is already in our roadmap.

    Regards Custom Fields in search,

    This is already possible. You just need to configure the “Colours” custom field as searchable. You can find option for this in the same custom fields form back-end.

    With regards to the translation, look forward to the updated version of the plugin.
    Sorry I missed out the part on making the custom field searchable, is an obvious selection in the backend, guess my mind is swarmed with the translation problem as it is a vital part of my site.

    Please continue to maintain/update the plugin, as it is a great asset to the WordPress community, tks again.
