Hello and firstly, thanks for this complete and very versatile plugin.

I have the pro version used for a bilingual website, and am in the process of translating the PO file into the second language.

The issue I have is with the customizable strings in the Store Locator settings, namely:
    – Query String
    – Title search String

When the defaults are kept, the translation is correctly picked up in the .mo file, but when I change these values from defaults to anything else in the map > store locator settings, the translation is lost and it seems these fields become hard coded without the possibility to wrap them up with gettext?

So the question is, is it possible to customize these strings AND get them translated into a second language?

    Thanks ??

Another question that I hope remains borderline on topic is, how compatible is wp-google-maps with polylang?

Polylang allows translation of custom post types and taxonomies. But I suppose markers on a map are not cpts?

[update to my own questions above: no, markers, maps, categories and all wp-google-maps data are in custom tables, so polylang or other multilingual plugins will not be able to translate these entries].

    Hi there.
