  • Hi @stefanpeeters

    Thanks for reaching out!

I understand that you want to translate your WooCommerce site from English to Dutch. After setting your site’s language to Dutch and using Loco Translate, there are still some text strings that are not being translated, correct?

WooCommerce is already translated into a few languages and does come translation-ready out of the box. All that’s needed is a translation file for your language.

As a first step, please check our support documentation about Translating WooCommerce here.

As you’ve mentioned that after using the Loco Translate plugin, the text strings are still not being translated on your site, correct?

Since this is a third-party plugin which we don’t provide support for (please see our Support Policy), it would be best to reach out to the plugin’s developers for further assistance here.

All the best and hopefully, the issue will be fixed soon.

    Hi,

I checked the Dutch translation and it is 100% translated. Still what is not translated on my site belongs to woocommerce I think and is not a 3rt party plugin. When I put an item to my cart and click on view cart I get an (slide in) overview where still words are not translated. In wich I think is the mini cart.

    Hi,

An alternative solution to translate or change strings on your site is the Say What? plugin:
    https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/say-what/

If that does not help, please make your shop page public so that we can check better.

    Cheers.

Thank you for replying and try to help!

That didn’t work. I made the site public.

    Hi @stefanpeeters

Thank you for making your site public. I was able to browse the text strings that you are referring to here on the Mini Cart as shown below:

On my personal site running on the default Storefront theme, I am not seeing these text strings under the Mini Cart:

I can see that your site is using the Big Store theme. I installed it to my site to check if the mini cart is added by this theme. At first, it is not. This is what I’m seeing on my end, the word Add Cart.

Clicking the Add Cart button redirects me to the Themes page. To add the Mini Cart, I installed the TH All In One Woo Cart plugin.

Now, I am seeing the Mini Cart on my personal site as seen below:

With this, we can conclude that the text strings you would like to translate to Dutch are not coming from WooCommerce but from your theme plus the TH All In One Woo Cart plugin.

Since we don’t provide support for these third-party plugins based on our Support Policy, I recommend that you reach out to the developers of the plugin for further assistance. They will be better equipped to help you resolve any issues you’re experiencing with the plugin.

All the best and hopefully, the issue will be fixed soon.
