    Hi,

Seen a few articles on line about this, but no definitive answer (or at least one I can find).

I want my website’s default language to be in Japanese, with an option to translate to english. I’m using Translate Press (free version).
I can do most things, however the registration/ login page. This remains in English – is there a way of translating this into Japanese?

    Hi,

Did you translate the registration/login page?
Could you send us a link to see how those pages were added to the website?

    Cheers,

Sorry.. just re-read my original posting and I wasn’t clear.

No, so my registration and login pages are in English – and I want these to be in Japanese as default, with users to be able to translate into English via the language switch if required.

    Hello,

    Thank you for your patience!

if the default language is Japanese, you will only be able to translate from Japanese into another secondary language entered in the TranslatePress general settings.
TranslatePress does not offer the possibility to translate from a secondary language into the default language or another secondary language.

This is due to the architecture of the plugin and how it was designed.
    Thank you for your understanding.
    Cheers,
