Translate popup text “Privacy overview”

    Hi,

    I’m trying to translate the text from the Cookie settings popup but I can’t find it anywhere in the .po file. I can translate “Necessary” and “Non necessary” but not the rest of the text.
    Also, I think it would be great if this text can be changed from backend since many clients asks us to put a custom text there.

    It this possible in the paid version of the plugin maybe?

    You can edit it from GDPR Cookie Consent > Privacy Overview menu.

    Hi,

    And what about the text about “Necessary cookies” and “Non-necessary” ones?
    Our clients want to customize these texts and we don’t find also where to translate them.

    You can edit them from the corresponding sub menu under GDPR Cookie Consent menu.

    Hi,

    Ok, thanks, I see it. In fact, the problem is that I was finding this into WPML String Translation and it doesn’t appear. I even tried to use the option “Look for strings while pages are rendered” but it does not work. The strings never appear into WPML to be translated.
    Do you know how can we do it?

    Same problem : my site uses two languages, with Polylang and Polylang Theme String.

    I don’t find the way to show the Privacy Overview in french and dutch depending on the user language.

    Hi @extrapaul,

    You can translate the privacy overview string from polylang string translation menu > Choose “cookie-law-info” group and then you will find the strings in there.
