Translate Privacy/GDPR – Consent Message Text?

    I have a multilingual site (English and German) which is being translated through WPML.

    I need to be able to translate the Privacy/GDPR – Consent Message Text so that users on the German version of the site get the German version of the message, while users on the English version of the site get the English version.

    For other plugins, I am able to use WPML to scan the plugin for strings (such as those entered into text input fields in the plugin settings) and enter a translation in the WPML String Translation dashboard. However, if I try this with the YouTube Embed Plus plugin, no strings matching the GDPR consent message are found.

    How can I achieve a multilingual version of the GDPR consent message generated by this plugin?

    Hi,
    We are working on internationalizing the plugin in the background. This should be supported down the road.

    One thing you can do is provide different (popular) language versions of your text in the box.
