Hello, I am using Elementor Pro, Polylang and Ascend theme to run this site. There is a problem with elementor header – it shows fine on the Polish homepage (which is a default language), but it disappears on the English homepage. I’ve prepared a different header for polish and for english translation hence I need to use different menus… There is a connnection between both headers and between both homepages. I guess I’ve checked everything and I’m stuck now… (Of course I am also using Polylang Connect plugin)

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hello @troxx

Sorry you are having this issue. But I cannot double check it as there is no way for me to check the alternative language from the front end.

Are you using Elementor Pro header? Or the theme header?

Please could you place a language switcher (temporarily) somewhere on the front end of your site. (Not in the header or footer) but in the body of the site.

Alternatively it may be quicker for me to login directly into your site and double check.

    Please let me know.

There is a language switcher in the upper right corner, just above the hamburger menu, but now i also made another switcher in the bottom of the first section (just above photo of the piece of meat).

Hah, that’s the problem – this is the english version with no header. I forgot that language is based on the browser language.

Try now, please, and thank You for your patience ??

Okay great… your site has made me very hungry! ??

How did you create the “connection” between the headers?
Did you click the + sign next to your polish header?

Could you create a loom or send some screenshots of your header template on the backend (before you click on edit with elementor)

Alternatively you can use the plugin “Temporary Login Without Password” you can mail me at ********

Okay here is a loom for you to view: https://www.loom.com/share/f7f761e21cdc47338ecb6dc4d188700b

We will address this “issue” in some of our tutorial videos/posts that are going to be on our new website.

    The problem was this:

In the Synchronisation settings of PolyLang, the synchronise templates was not ticked.

So your home page in Polish was set to Elementor Full width but the home page of English was set to Canvas. Once I changed this to the same as the related page, the problem was fixed.

Please let me know if everything is fine now.

Seems to work now, thanks Brad! I’d probably never get to that… Cheers, bro ??
