    Hi,

I really appreciated your recent efforts to support translated taxonomy in permalinks since I like the /%category%/%postname%/ and /shop/%product_cat%/ structures.

I tried the feature and had some issues.

For an URL like /shop/accessories/cleaning-cloth/coolest-product only the product slug and the adjacent taxonomy (“cleaning-cloth”) get translated in another language whereas “accessories” stays the same even if the corresponding taxonomy is translated into another language with TranslatePress.

    Hope this can help.

    Regards,
    dedotombo

Let me be more precise: actually the fully translated URL actually works fine if entered manually but is not the default one e.g. in the shop category page, which instead proposes the partially translated URL I mentioned.

    Hello there,

Thank you for letting us know about your problem!

Since this looks a lot like a conflict with some other code, the first/next recommended step is the conflict test (ideally in a staging environment):

??*Briefly* disable all other plugins and enable the default Twenty Twenty theme. Please also disable all add-ons. If this fixes the problem, as it probably will, enable everything one by one, checking each time to see when the problem returns.

Please let us know when you find the conflict so that we can take a look and see what we can do about it.

You can let enabled the Woocommerce plugin, TranslatePress with SEO Pack addon.

    Kind Regards,

I verified that it’s not a plugin/theme incompatibility issue. The problem is present even with default theme and only TranslatePress + WooCommerce enabled as plugins.

    Hi,

did you ever solve your issue, I have a similar issue going on, no solution so far.
The plugin creates URLs with parameters in addition to ones wanted, I mean thousands f them, not good.
Thank you for letting me know,
    TJ Papen
