We use TranslatePress to deliver translated pages of the website in 4 different languages.

Some urls changed overtime to avoid 404s we use the redirection plugin to create redirects for each language URL

    Canonical urls are /name/
    Additional language urls are /fr/name/

Everything was working fine until last week. Now, the canonical urls redirect without issues but the additional language urls all go to 404s and they don’t seem to record any hits in the logs

    Any assistance would be appreciated.

    Thank you

Things don’t generally change without a reason, and the plugin hasn’t changed. What could you have changed on your site to affect this?

The most recent change was us adding a new security policy in the htaccess file. However, deactivating the new policy doesn’t resolve the issue. That’s why we are looking for ideas of possible conflicts or causesto this. We’ve also tested the site with all plugins turned off except for Translate Press and Redirection Plugin, and it doesn’t resolve the issue.

Is there a specific way the redirection plugin would work with the Translated Press translated urls that could cause a conflict?

We have submitted a support ticket with them as well, covering all our bases here.

    Thank you

Redirection has no intentional interaction with other plugins. I would look at things like caches and security software.
