• Hi, i have installed translatepress and this is an amazing plugin! i do like it verry much and will be used in next multilangual websites.!

    However…. i have installed translatepress on a website for two languages, german and englisch.

    Then i try several plugins for attach an invoice in pdf in a new order website.

    If a visitor use the site in german, make an order, and after the checkout an email is send, together with the PDF attachment, everything is ok. The email is perfectly in german!

    BUT, if a visitor choose the englisch language, make an order,and after the checkout page also an email is send, but these is unusable. all strings what have to be translated have an error. Al these strings look like:

    #!trpst#trp-gettext data-trpgettextoriginal=4818#!trpen#Reservation#!trpst#/trp-gettext#!trpen#

    I have try it all, disable plugins, change template, and select all possible settings in Admin/Translate/Advanced.

    How can i disable the plugin for Translatepress? or how do the plugin find translations? , please help, it is urgent

    Thanks

    Hi,

    Most of the time, these broken strings appear because of a conflict with other plugins or combinations of plugins. Due to the vast size of the WP market, these issues are difficult to control.
    What you can do in this situation is to identify the original string, the strings from the default language that becomes broken in the additional language, and add them in the Exclude Gettext String feature from TP Settings –> Advanced tab. Leave the domain textbox empty first (the domain can be found in parenthesis below the actual string when you select it in the list of strings from Translation Editor). This should get rid of the #trpst wrappings.
    If will not add the proper domain of those strigns and let the String textbox empty. This should get rid of the #trpst wrappings since the domain of the plugin that gerentates those string will be excluded.

    Hi, i do not really understand, most of translating is ok, just with a PDF Form it is a problem….

    Jjust to confirm, the translatioN “Reservierung) german is ok, so i hav to write “Reservation” in the exclude Exclude Gettext String?

    Yes, the strings in default language need to be excluded with that function.
