    Hi everybody,
I’m using the free version of TranslatePress plugin on a woocommerce website and everything works fine. Only I notice almost every day some new untranslated strings in the wp*_trp_original_strings and wp*_trp_dictionary_it_it_en_us tables. I can’t figure out exactly where they are coming from, I suppose from a wordpress or plugin scheduled background action.

    Here are some examples
    Tue, 02 May 2023 17:12:51 +0000
    Mon, 01 May 2023 13:43:41 +0000
    Fri, 28 Apr 2023 15:44:51 +0000

Of course translating these strings makes no sense and I programmatically delete them from the db tables. Is there a way to prevent TranslatePress to gather and save such strings? A new option in the settings or automatic default skipping by TranslatePress would be great.
Or I can add something on my end if there is a filter a can use.
Thank you in advance for any information.

  • Hey there,

Thanks for reaching out to us!

Unfortunately I am not able to tell what might be causing this just from your description.

Would you mind writing back to us here?

    Hi,
for the moment I solved the issue by modifying the plugin with my own code, that your programmers kindly checked.
I hope that a new option to automatically filter date/time strings will soon be added to the plugin.
