TranslatePress does not translate any new page

    Hi,

    I was testing translate press and it worked perfectly on my home page.
    I then proceed to try to translate another page but it does not translate.

    It allowed me to enter translated text and click Save translation but nothing happens in the actual page. See screenshot:

    I tried another page, same issue. But if I go back and test the translation in the home page, it worked. I tried to duplicate the home page and tested translation, it worked too.
    Why is it not working outside of the main home page?

    Hello there,

    Thanks for reaching out to us about your issue!

    Since this looks a lot like a conflict with some other code, the first/next recommended step is the conflict test (ideally in a staging environment):

    ??*Briefly* disable all other plugins and enable the default Twenty Twenty theme. Please also disable all add-ons. If this fixes the problem, as it probably will, enable everything one by one, checking each time to see when the problem returns.

    Please let us know when you find the conflict so that we can take a look and see what we can do about it.

    thanks for the info.
    I managed to solve it, I have no idea what exactly solved it but all I did was
    go into Settings > Permalink Settings
    Then I ticked “Plain” (it was custom previously) > Save.
    That broke my website, I then switched it back to Custom with /%year%/ > Save.

    That somehow made the translation start working again.
    One thing I noted is that the page that didn’t work used to have this index.php in the url, but after I did the above the index.php no longer shows in all the page url and translation started to work..

    Not sure the root cause but hope this help others with similar issue.
