• Hello Together,

I just don`t understand where am I here. I just wanted to Translate some Images for a Project.

And then I just bought the Personal Version of TranslatePress, so per Mail the delivered me two ZIP folders.

I just thought it is a program. Now I just found out, that I need to make a Website first?

Or what is this with this many folders, when I want to install WordPress at first.

I don’t understand nothing what is going on here.

    Help Me Please!

  • You have obviously bought TranslatePress. This is a plugin for WordPress. It is used to translate content in WordPress into other languages.

However, if I have understood correctly, you are not interested in translating anything on a website. So you don’t need this plugin, just as you don’t need a website for your project.

I would recommend that you contact the seller to explain your mistake and get your money back. You can’t get any help here in the forum as there are only volunteers here to help other WordPress users. Questions about commercial products are actually not allowed.

There are numerous free tools for your actual concern. You can translate texts with DeepL and Google Translate, for example.

    Hi threadi,

yes, you understand everything absolute correctly. So the problem is, this TranslatePress Plugin looks good. I already have tried Google Translate and everything worked very well. The Problem is the content that I want to translate is for a company. I’m a little bit afraid of Google Translate because of the safety conditions etc. So if it would work well to translate Images with TranslatePress, than I maybe would create a Website to translate my Images and after that I would delete it?

    Greetings

I’m not sure to what extent you want to translate images. TranslatePress also only uses Google Translate in the background, or DeepL. But that is for text translation. If you are only interested in this one topic, you don’t need to build a website for it.
