Translatepress not usable in editor role

Hi There!
I design websites for clients and uphold a policy were they can edit the things I have created, such as text and imagery.

Now I have a client that has a website in two languages and I made her a tutorial on how to edit her translations and to my horror, is translatepress not working on her editor account.

I have tried several editor role plugins to change this. And while they give me access to plugins, translatepress only becomes usable in the admin role. But opening up the admin role makes it impossible to close of other parts, like elementor.

IS there any way to work around this?
