I wanted to translate a Text for a Buddpypress Plugin from English to German.
But near the english version there is a info-text called “Kontext” with already my German translation. It looks different than all the other strings and does not have any effect. The string remains in English on my front-end.
How can I remove this “Kontext” mark for this string to translate it correctly?

Sounds like you, or someone else has entered translation text into the Context field of a POT file. This is wrong and the editor should warn you not to edit this file.

The translation will not be found, because the source string’s unique key includes the context. This has been broken by entering text into it.

You need to get a corrected POT file and generate your german files from that. Or install the official german translations, and copy their PO file if you want to customize them.

To understand all of this, see Working with POT files in Loco Translate
