• Hi,

I have a problem with translating my Woocommerce attributes.
I have translated them in the string translator, but I can’t see the attributes on the product page, widgets etc. for my second language.

    Anyone had the same issue?

Check the Polylang settings to enable translation for the attributes you want to translate, in Languages, Settings, custom taxonomies
Remember to translate the attribute values

Check the wiki for more details

Hi Jonmoore, thanks for your response.

I have translated the attributes, the translations are also visible in the string translator.

The problem is that the translated attributes aren’t visible anywhere. Not in the product filter widget, not on the product page.

I have tried with standard theme as well as diasbling all plugis except woocommerce and polylang, but othing seems to work.

Can you be clear about whether you are talking about the attribute name or attribute values or both?
    – the values are translated by going into configure terms and translating them just like tags, not the string translation table

Check Languages, Settings, Post Types and Taxonomies, Custom Taxonomies and check that translation is enabled for the attributes in question.

When you say not visible on the product page do you mean the View page or the Edit page?
For the attributes you want to show, check in the Product Edit screen, Attributes, “Visible on the product page” should be checked.

When enabling Translation on an Product Attribute for the first time, you may have terms already existing without translations. In this case you visit Polylang languages page and follow the prompt to assign items with no language to the default language.

    Hi,
I had a similar problem, but when I create the New product => choose another language => then the attributes were visible (on the Edit page, in the product filter widget, on the product page).
