When I try to translate my site’s emails, the strings translator is unable to find any emails to translate. Is this feature not available in the free version of the plugin or something?

Full translation email integration is available only for WooCommerce email for the moment: https://translatepress.com/docs/translating-woocommerce-emails/. Also, it is working starting with TranslatePress–Multilingual version 2.3.5+ and WooCommerce version 6.8+.
If you already comply with these conditions, and you are not using automatic translation, be sure that the email is sent first (this is how we will detect the strings) after which the strings will also appear in the String Translation Interface. Check also the Regular tab (in case the email is not gettext only but created by the admin in the back-end) from the interface (this can be activated from TP Settings –> Advanced tab).

If you are looking to add the same support of other emails plugins from we have doc about this topic: https://translatepress.com/docs/send-emails-in-users-preferred-language/
