Translating Flexible Checkout Fields form

    Hi all

    I want to translate a form and its fields that is being used in woocommerce at the checkout page, which was made using the Flexible Checkout Fields plugin. I already tried looking for the strings of the field names within the plugin using Loco Translate but I was unsucessful in finding them there. Also I didnt find any documentation or any previous questions helping me with my issue.

    I’m assuming the point of your plugin is to enter the custom text you want for those fields, which is then stored in the database and presented as-is to the user. Hence it is not translatable. At least not via PO files.

    User defined text like this is not going to show up in Loco Translate, because it is a PO file editor. https://localise.biz/wordpress/plugin/faqs/translating-posts

    Not just custom text but create a whole form with desired fields and labels. Yes, I noticed it not showing up. Is there any other way to do it?

    I can only provide support for using my plugin. I suggest you ask the author how they intend for their functionality to be made multi-language.

    One thing I will say is that WordPress sites are not multi-language. Each site is in one language and each site has its own options table. Hence option values are not intended to be translatable source strings – they are the final translated content. WordPress multisite would allow you to have a separate site per language, each with a separate options table. However, in my experience most people aren’t interested in doing multi-language via multisite and prefer to use various plugins and hacks to do it all in one site.
