    Hi Emili,

First of all, thank you so much for your plugin, it’s a lifesaver! (you talked to me about it in Santander when we first met but didn’t know at the time how good it actually was)

To the point, I’ve spent a few hours trying to translate the HTML content of the field ‘Footer text’ which appears in the footer of every page, but with no luck… the string does not appear in WPML String Translation when scanning the plugin or the theme.

I tried adding the localization function ( __($pdf_footer_text, ‘mytheme’); ) to the file: dkpdf-footer.php in my theme (I’ve created a dkpdf subfolder with a custom template), but didn’t work either.

    Thank you for your help,
    Marcelo

    Hello again,

Finally! I managed to solve and translate the footer modifying the file dkpdf-footer.php. The problem was that the footer_text I was using had too many HTML in it and the translation function was not working.

I splitted it in many pieces and now the strings get registered correctly in WPML’s String Translation plugin.

    Thank you!
