    Hi,

I am helping to translate my friend’s website from French to English. The original language of the website is in French, this includes them using French WordPress and Elementor and all of the GiveWP forms on the website are in French as this is the language that has been selected. When I have been translating pages from French to English I have been effectively duplicating the French page and then translating all the text to English myself. However, this is obviously not translating the GiveWP forms to English. I have assessed all my options to translate the form and I think that downloading the .pot and translating this through Poedit is the best way to ensure that everything is translated correctly. I don’t want to use a plugin to translate everything because often you have to pay, and I can translate it for free myself and know it’s correct. But once I upload the .mo file will this change the language of all the forms on the website? Or can it be used just for certain pages?

The .pot file is automatically translating from English. Is there a .pot file that will translate from French? Or would my best option be to change the language of all the forms on the website to English and then translate those on the French pages to French?

I hope this makes sense. Thanks for your help.
