Translating Slugs causes sitemap problems

Hello, we are translating some of our slugs using Polylang, which i know it’s a third party plugin, to translase content and the slugs of our custom post types.
Semrush is sending us the next error
The issue seems to be that the sitemap is registering this URL:
https://strive.stxgroup.com/es/latest-news/certificados-energias-limpias-cel-y-los-i-recs-mexico/
Which redirects you to:
https://strive.stxgroup.com/es/noticias/certificados-energias-limpias-cel-y-los-i-recs-mexico/
Basically, sitemap.xml is writting the url with the old slug and not the translated one.Is there a way to change how Yoast creates the sitemap?

Hello @maybellyne thanks for answering.
That meta line might actually be a mistake from our part, i will investigate it but we didn’t do it as a fix to our redirect issue.
I guess i should talk to Polyland support then.
