    Hi there,

for translating uipress, I followed the instruction in your documentation.

    1. I created a po and mo file
    2. I used https://www.wpeform.io/tools/make-po-to-json/
      • Uploaded the po file
      • Script Handle: uip-translations
      • Translation Domain: uipress-lite
      • Locale Id: de_DE
      • Downloaded the json file
      • I got a file named uipress-lite-de_DE-uip-translations.json
    3. All files – po, mo and json – I uploaded to wp-content > translations > plugins
    4. I also checked some necessary entries in json, like:

    "domain": "uipress-lite", "locale_data": { "uipress-lite": {...

    "": { "domain": "uipress-lite", "plural_forms": "nplurals=2; plural=(n > 1);", "lang": "de_DE" },

Issue: My uipress is still in english. So, what am I missing? Which steps is necessary on top?

    Thank you.

    Hey,

I believe it would need to be placed in the uipress lite plugin languages folder uipress-lite > languages

If this doesn’t work please let us know. This method will replace your file on updates though so if you would like to share the translation then we can include it in the core plugin file.

    Thanks,

    Mark

    Thanks for your response Mark.

I uploaded the files in uipress-lite > languages but still see no effect.

Regarding sharing the translations, the reality is that I only translated few keywords, so I guess you or your clients will not benefit from it.

    i have the same issue.
