translating whole site

Hi guys.

I’d like to translate a whole wp site into another language.

what’s the best way?

i was thinking…

1. duplicate the whole site

2. create a subdirectory on my root /fr

3. install wordpress here

4. transfer duplicated site to /fr

and then translate manually…

is this the best way?

should i use something like backup buddy?
