Translation

  • Hi! Thank you for updating))))
    The word is Category, does not translate. Tried through loco translate, it didn t turn out when all other words without problems translated.

    Hi,
    i understand this you mean the “Category” word in the search form?

    If so then this phrase will not translate with Loco Translate as most likely it is not marked for translation at all.

    If you have added the Category field to search form using Custom Fields editor then you would need to translate it also in the Custom Fields editor. If the field was added using search-by-category.php snippet then you would need to translate it directly in the search-by-category.php file.

    I didn ‘t find the file search-by-category.php.
    Where can I edit this word?

    Maybe you have the code pasted directly in the theme functions.php file?

    Like i wrote earlier i am afraid i cannot pin-point the exact word location since it is not a part of the default WPAdverts package and where it is located depends on how and where the Category field was added.

    Do you have the Custom Fields extension installed? If not then the words is either in theme functions.php file or in some other plugin installed on the site.
