    Hello,
    I tried to localize Restopress in Italian, so with POedit, starting from the file “restopress.pot” I created the files “it_IT.mo” and “it_IT.po” and put them in the “languages” directory. Then I put the following code in the WordPress config file:

    define (‘WPLANG’, ‘it_IT’);

    Then I translated a few words/sentences, but the system keeps on showing the english version of those words/sentences.
    So I would ask you if your plugin is translation ready, and what could be the reason of the described issue.

    Thanks.

    Hello @billybill,

    Thanks for using our plugin.

    Everything you have done seems to be right except one thing. Can you rename the mo/po files from “it_IT.mo” to restropress-it_IT.mo and “it_IT.po” to restropress-it_IT.po

    Let us know if that works for you.

    Regards,
    Nirmal

    Hello,

    Glad to know that you have fixed the issue, so we are closing this topic for now.

    Hi
    I want to localise to French – where do I find the localised files (e.g. FRENCH) and I can move the files but where do change the WPLANG?
    Thank you
    Gerry

    Hi @gbolger
    just select the French language form wordpress admin Setting > General.
    if this is not working then add the line

    define (‘WPLANG’, ‘fr_FR’);

    in config file of WordPress installation.

    After you have created restropress-fr_fr.mo and restropress-fr_FR.po put them in
    wp-content/languages/plugins

    Hope this helps.
    Best regards.
    M

    I need both English & French so will this overridge my core language?
