Hi there Johan, congratulations for this work, a great plugin!

But I have a problem with the translation using loco translate. I would like to change the headline “Summary” (div.gotrgf_summary_title) and “TOTAL”.

Your plugin is correctly identified by loco translate as “live-summary-for-gravity-forms”. But I can only translate the Description of the plugin, the Author, the name and the class-gravitysummaryaddon.php – e.g. “msgid “Set this switch to on to show a live summary next to the form”. There is no text “Summary” or “Total” as shown in the frontend.
    Thanks a lot in advance
    Phil

    Hi Phil,

Thank you for your kind words!

Unfortunately, since v1.1, Loco Translate is not longer supported to change the Title and Total Labels. I still need to update the description of the plugin for this. I will do that in the next plugin update which will happen tomorrow likely.

There are two ways now to change the labels. One is with custom PHP. Since v1.1 the plugin has about a dozen hooks, one of those hooks allows for changing the title and another one for the total label. I am still working on the online documentation for this but if you are a developer than the comments inside the plugin code should be sufficient to guide you.

Another and easier way to gain control over the labels is by purchasing the Pro version of the plugin which is now in Alpha testing stage and is found very reliable so far. The plugin is currently being sold as Early bird for only $15. Please visit the following page for more information: https://geekontheroad.com/live-summary-for-gravity-forms/

Please let me know if you have anymore questions!

Also please consider leaving a star review if you found this plugin helpful. You can leave your review on the following page: https://www.ads-software.com/support/plugin/live-summary-for-gravity-forms/reviews/#new-post

    Kind regards,
    Johan

    Hi Johan,

thanks a lot for your kind and fast answer!

I would really purchase the version for 30 Dollars, but I need your plugin above all within the ?gravity flow“ process.
Perhaps you know this extension for gravity forms with a lot of great features.

Now after testing your plugin with gravity flow workflow processes I realized some bugs.

After starting a new workflow process the layout in the background has an conflict with your (empty) summary layout.
I Thin it would be helpful to disable your summary after sending the form and starting the gf workflow (new users or assignees get a link in a mail and open the form in a new browser window to check or add new entries and continue the workflow …)

    best wishes, Phil

    Hi Phil,

I know of the software and have worked with it before but I have not yet tested this plugin with it so it is certainly possible that it is not yet compatible. I think you might even be the first person to use that combination of plugins!

If you are an unlimited license holder than you are entitled to my awesome support and part of that support is figuring out these kind of things of course. So whereas I do not have a ready solution for you yet, I would be happy to look into it for you and find possible solution(s) to make this work with you first and eventually improve the plugin for future users. Purchasing a license helps supporting the development of this plugin as well!

I suggest that you reach out to me through the form found on the page I mentioned before or you can reply to the email sent after purchasing the plugin. If you can also provide me with a link to where I can see and try the current flow, that would really help in finding a solution for you as I don’t have the gravity flow software currently available to me.

FYI: I will refund your money in full if I cannot find a solution. (the latter has a very small chance of happening ?? )

    Kind regards,
    Johan
