Hi! I’ve been all day looking for a subscription plugin other than the typical ones and suddenly SUBRE came up out of the blue. Looks like I’m one of the first users using it! ??

Needless to say, Villatheme is a quality seal in the plugin repository, and so far the results are amazing. Easy to set up, but powerful and with a promising growth curve.

I’m so in love with it that I’m translating it into Spanish. Expect it to be uploaded soon in the plugin translation page!

Anyway, I’ve faced a couple of issues:

    1. Dynamic strings generated by the placeholders can’t be translated with qTranslate-XT. When I try to, the text in the frontend reads literally: [en]Whatever I enter in English[es]Whatever I enter in Spanish[:]. This also happens with the renamed “Checkout” button, but not with the “Add to cart” button, which is happily translated using the qTrasnlate-XT format [en][es][:]. The rest of the strings (My Account, and even the email ones!!! ?? ) can be easily translated via Loco or poedit.
    2. Right now, the only acceptable payment methods are: Stripe and Sepa (WooCommerce Stripe Gateway by WooCommerce); Stripe Credit Cards, SEPA and Stripe Google Pay (Payment Plugins for Stripe WooCommerce by Payment Plugins). Is there any chance that you add the payment methods I’ve globally configured in Woocommerce?

Again, congrats for this simple yet complete subscritpion plugin. Keep up with the good work!

    Hi,

Thank you for using this plugin and for your kind words.

Your recommended plugin is currently closed and giving a security warning: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/qtranslate-x/ So we will not offer support for this plugin at this time.

We assumed you were perplexed by the terms of the new payment and recurring payment. All WooCommerce payment methods are accepted for new initial subscription payments, but recurring payments are to subtract the bill automatically using supportive payment gateways.

    Best regards.

Thank you for your answer. Just a few considerations:

    1. I’m not talking about the sunseted “qTranlsate-x”, but “qTranslate-XT”, an ongoing, up-to-date multilingual plugin project (reviving the old one) in the GitHub repository, maintained by a community of expert developers. Check it out here: https://github.com/qtranslate/qtranslate-xt A lot of major plugins in the WordPress repository already provide support for it. Please, at least, consider it, since translation is carried out natively.
    2. Oh, so do you mean recurring payments can’t be carried out by Woocommerce payments methods? I’ll take it into consideration, then

Thank you again and congrats for this plugin! Best regards.

    Hi,

    1. We will take a closer look at this problem and respond to you as soon as possible, please be patient.
    2. Sorry, I meant, it accepts other WooCommerce payment methods. If an order containing subscription products is placed using a payment method that supports automatic renewal, subscriptions generated from that order will be renewed automatically. Otherwise, subscriptions will be renewed manually. Payment methods that support automatic renewal at the moment: Stripe and Sepa(WooCommerce Stripe Gateway by WooCommerce); Stripe Credit Cards, SEPA and Stripe Google Pay(Payment Plugins for Stripe WooCommerce by Payment Plugins)

    Best regards.
