Translation checkout message

    Hello everyone,

    we are currently migrating from the PayPal Plus plugin to this plugin because the other one is too insecure to use. However, we still have an issue with translations. When a customer selects PayPal at checkout and logs in with PayPal, the text “You are currently paying with PayPal. Choose another payment method.” appears below the “Pay Now” button.

    This text cannot be translated and is always in English (we are using the plugin on a German website).

    How can I translate this text?

    Hi @pixelbart

    This string was changed in the last update 2.2.0, and it can be translated as every other string via WordPress translation files. But there is no German translation for this string yet. So this is something the www.ads-software.com community must add, as we don’t actively maintain the plugin translations.

    In the meantime, you could translate the string yourself, e.g. with a plugin like Loco Translate.

    I would also like to clarify that our old PayPal Plus plugin is not insecure, but it is no longer being developed or supported. So PayPal Payments is the preferred choice in any case.

    It’s working, I had to sync, and now the translations are being displayed. I’ll close the ticket. Thank you for the hint!
