Translation deleted in case of block editing

    Hi dev,

    If I edit a Gutenberg block (even just a comma) then the translation is deleted and there is no way to recover it.

    1. Is that the way it is intended to work?
    2. Any way to prevent this from happen? If not, what’s the best way to deal with that?

    Thank you for reaching us!

    Our plugin works with individual strings. Any change in the original will invalidate the translation, as the original string is no longer found.

    That’s why we offer those same strings as a possible translation if the originals are similar enough. Currently, there is no way for us to be 100% sure you’re editing the same string, so we don’t serve the similar string translation automatically.
