Translation Editors wanted!

You will get the power to “validate” Polish translations for this plugin. At this point they are your own translations but others may submit improvements or additional translations later on which you can then also validate or improve if needed… I notice you already have the Translation Editor badge on your profile page so you must have a similar privilege already for another plugin ??

@wujanowski turns out you are already PTE so you should be able to validate your own (and others) translation strings. According to a response from @tobifjellner https://make.www.ads-software.com/polyglots/2018/10/29/pte-request-for-xml-sitemap-google-news/#comment-281368 you should even be able to select multiple strings to validate them all at once. Not sure how to do that though…

But it’s quite intuitive: Either you hit “Approve” for one string at a time while you have the string and its translation expanded.
Or you may select several strings at once, using the selection boxes in the left column that are only visible to editors. There’s one extra box at the top to select all visible rows. Next you select the action “Approve” from the batch action drop down at the top, and submit.

The only less intuitive shortcut is that you can easily change the number of rows you get in one page, which can save you some time if you’re dealing with hundreds of waiting strings. While you’re in the “translate” system, hover over “Howdy, username” and selecte “Translate settings” and you’ll soon be validating more than 20 strings a time.
