Translation files aren’t loaded via symlink outside wordpress project directory

    Problem is when I use symlinks to outside project directory files are not detected. Why? is there fix for that?

    P.S. Directory still belongs to same user php-fpm is on.

    Thanx for the change, maybe it will be implemented in the future.

    It will be released into version 2.2.1 very soon.

    But one way or another I think custom language directories should be considered.

    So we’re clear. They are supported. The only problem is this one example where translation files under theme directories must have no domain prefix. As I’ve said this location should not be used anyway as WordPress themselves have deprecated its use.
