    Hi,
I don’t have any problems already since I figured out what should be done.
However I suggest the dev to change the code a bit.
I’ve made a couple of translation .po and .mo files via Loco Translate. Loco puts the files to either /plugin folder/languages or /wp-content/languages/plugins. I selected the second. How ever no language alterations were seen.
What is done (most likely after updating the version of the plugin) is the name of the plugin has been changed (i think this is called the “slug”). It appears as woocommerce-empty-cart-button now. But in the code it still tries to search for the .po and .mo files with the name wc-emptycart-xx_XX.
I guess it would be better to change the code to resolve this little issues for other people.
I resolved mine by renaming the language files.

Think this post might be useful for other ppl having issues with language files as well.
