translation in page templates

hi! i created a page with no text in it, and put all what i need in her template, besause i have many php code over there.
how can i translate some parts of a text?
i used this code:
‘[:ru]russian[:en]english[:]’

but when i opened a page, i saw exact the same text, so he can’t see the [] tags.
is there any solution? maybe i need to check box something in settings?
