• Hello, I just installed Product Customer List for WooCommerce on my German WooCommerce site, and strangely, the product sales list I created to use on the frontpage with a shortcode does always display in English.

However the settings and the table in the backend on product edit pages are translated according to system language. We are using a mutlilingual site with WPML, 1st language=German, 2nd language=English.

How can we get a translated output on the frontend when using the shortcode?

    Hi @w-sky,

did you translate the strings using string translation in WPML?

No, I am using the translation that came with the plugin.

I don’t think the german translation is up to date, you’ll need to translate the strings yourself in WPML string translations unfortunately

I have noticed that it is about 64% complete and added a few translations with Loco Translate.
Anyway, only the translations for the strings in the table on our frontend are important and these are 100% translated.

The same strings also are shown translated inside the backend, it’s only the frontend where they are still English which is kind of awkward.

I believe that even though the strings are the same in the front-end, they do need to be translated as well

Those strings that are not shown translated on our frontend are just the column descriptions: “Date”, “Billing City”, “Billing Country”, “Order total”, “Qty”

They all appear only once inside the translation file and they are translated. I also synchronized our translation file with the translation template. (Using Loco Translate, that’s how I found the strings which were not translated before.)

The column descriptions also appear translated in the table on the product edit page. I would expect that it is not possible to have different translations for backend and frontend. (Not useful too.)

    Hi @w-sky,

someone reported this in our beta version of our new version of the plugin. We thought it was a newly introduced bug and are currently working on it, so in that case, please wait for the next release of the plugin in the following weeks and this issue should be solved

This is good news! Thank you very much.
