• Hello, I am really interested in purchasing TranslatePress to allow Search engine indexing, but the main problem is that the automatic translation is not doing a great job!

We use lots of <b> and <strong> tags in <h1> and other titles, for example in the home:

“Come arrivare” (Italian) translates to “How to get here” in english.

TranslatePress, instead, translates it as: “Such as arrive.” ??

    Why?

Because it separates “Come” from “Arrivare” since “Arrivare” is inside a <strong> tag!

    “Come” > “Such as”
    “Arrivare” > “Arrive”

The result is totally wrong. This happens everywhere in the website.

Is there a way to fix this? Because if there isn’t, then, this plugin is totally useless! And that would be bad since it’s really a good plugin!

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Same problem for us as well…

It’s just ridiculous… remembers me of google translate back in 2010, when it used to translate things like “tu sei Medran” (litterally “you are Medran”) in something like “you six Medran” because “sei” in italian means number 6 but also “you are”. I won’t buy the plugin until this is fixed, because it’s really stupid
