    Bulgarian translation behaves oddly, although the .po and .mo strings seem to be fully translated, some parts appear in a mix of bulgarian / english

    Example:

    Events for june 2015 appear as Събития for юни 2015

    Events in appear as Събития in

    Export Month’s Events appear as Ескпорт Month‘s Събития

    This event has passed appears as This събитие has passed.

    Here is a link to the webpage:

    Thankful for any advice, as i said the lang files seem translated properly.

    Howdy Gadasoft,

    I am happy you posted. 3.10 changed some of the wording around, and so not all translations are fully up-to-date. Would you be interested in helping us complete the Bulgarian one? If we can use your translation we will give you a free license to any of our plugins. More info on how to help us translate: The Events Calendar: Guide to translating a plugin

    Cheers!

    I would absolutely love to help. Further more, the current Bulgarian translation is not necessary the best.

    Hi thanks for offering to help.

    If you follow that link Brook posted it has the steps outlined there.

    You can also download the latest translation files from our translation site too.

    You may have to rename them as the language file format is currently:

    tribe-events-calendar-pro-es.po

    But WordPress seems to only recognize:

    tribe-events-calendar-es_ES.po

    Sounds good thanks.

    Hi,

    The French translation is very mediocre. I speak French fluently and can translate it if you want?

    Could I also have a license for a product if I improve the quality of this translation (which badly needs it!)?

    Best wishes,
    Patrick

    Hi Patrick,

    You can follow the steps here to translate:

    https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/adding-or-updating-a-translation/

    We do offer free licenses in return for translating the plugin. However, I am not sure how much we require for you to translate in order to get it.

    You can post in our Translation forum on our site to get more information.

    Thanks

    Hi,

    I would like to offer my help too and would appreciate a license in return ??

    I can review Lithuanian translation as current one is really really poor.

    These are just several examples (most of them was done by user “tribe” ?? ):
    1. Translated plugin names word to word – like “Community Events”, which should not be translated as it is name;
    2. Punctuation in most cases is terrible;
    3. As Lithuanian has like 7 words cases x 2 (singular and plural), wording in most sentences with %s is not thought through;
    4. Grammatical mistakes..

    I hope you will look into this and come too me as soon as you can.

    Thank you in advance for consideration.

    Best regards,

    Aurimas
