    I have manually translated my website into Dutch language.
    On my desktop everything is showing correctly, but on my mobile phone I see an automatic translation with many errors. It doesn’t matter whether I click on English or Dutch flag, the page remains in Dutch automatic translation.
    How can I get the translation from TranslatePress to also show on the mobile version of my website?

  • Hello,

    Since this looks a lot like a conflict with some other code, the first recommended step is the conflict test (ideally in a staging environment):

    ??*Briefly* disable all other plugins and enable the default Twenty Twenty theme. Please also disable all add-ons. If this fixes the problem, as it probably will, enable everything one by one, checking each time to see when the problem returns.

    Please let us know when you find the conflict so that we can take a look and see what we can do about it.

    Cheers,

    @sdenis
    Thanks for your reply. It pointed me in the right direction.
    I had added a widget for Yandex translation with the idea it would help translate my website into languages I can’t translate myself. But it took precedence over TranslatePress translation. So the Yandex translation showed instead of my own. I removed the code and now it’s working fine. I would like to use the Yandex translation for other languages than Dutch, so if you know of a way to do that I would really appreciate your help.

    Thanks a lot for your help ??

    Hello,

    Thank you for letting us know.

    At this moment we do not have support for Yandex but, we have support for Google Translation API that will do just the same.
    More information about it can be found here:

    @sdenis Thanks for the reply Denis,
    I was hoping for a way to translate for free. I don’t have the means to invest in Google translation, so I’ll do without for te moment.

    Regards,
    Erika
