• I am using Translatepress plugin but it doesn’t seem to work on the Homepage for some reason but it works fine on all other pages.

On the other pages the site is instantly translated when switched from English to Arabic then back from Arabic to English for example.

But it does not work on the homepage (when switching from Arabic to English).
I cannot change the language via the widget, when changed it just reloads the page but stays in the same language.

    Looking for your help.

  • Hello,

Make sure you have enabled the Force language in custom links option from TP Settings. This is useful if you want to force custom links without language encoding to keep the currently selected language.

Also make sure links are full URL’s in your menu in WordPress → Appearance → Menus → Edit Menu.
They should not be relative or absolute (for example if you have a custom link /blog/ replace it with https://example.com/blog/)

Let me know if this fixes your issue

    Kind regards,

    Hi Denis,

    Thanks for your reply.

Force language in custom links option already checked and for the links all are same as https://example.com/blog/; my only issue is in Home page and still not converting from Arabic to English, However it’s working from English to Arabic only.
