Translation not working

  • Hi,
    I’ve been trying to translate my theme (jobify) and all my plugins, as well as the wordpress interface, i did all i’ve been told to do, from changing the wp-config wp lang stuff to adding the .mo files where they go and such
    when i go to my updates page in my dashboard i get
    two options to “update” or reinstall wordpress as wordpress_es_ES or as en_EN
    does that mean my installation has 2 wordpress installs?
    how do i fix this??
    in any case, when i click on reinstall the “spanish” version of wordpress it doesnt work and it still appears in english
    heeelp i need everything in spanish
